Sutro Baths & Lands End Trail, Part II

I know I’ve posted about the Sutro Baths and the Lands End Trail before, but I’m posting about them again because well, they’re beautiful.  We grabbed brunch at Louis’, and I was pleasantly surprised (okay, shocked) that there was no line for brunch on a Sunday, the food was decent, and it had an amazing view of the Sutro Baths.  I took the first two photos from our table.

Cliff House & Sutro Baths, San Francisco

My dear friend Jude came to visit me in San Francisco and while I worked half the time, and spent the other time sick with the plague, I did show her a few nice spots.  The Cliff House and Sutro Baths is an excellent date spot.  We had a lovely and platonically, romantic time.  (Don’t worry Brian, I kept my hands to myself.)

Lands End Trail, San Francisco

One of my New Years’ resolutions is to post in my blog at least once a week, so here’s knocking out week 1!  Does it still count that I took these photos a few weeks ago?  I kept hearing about the Lands End trail and finally made it out.  We accessed the trail from the golf course behind the Legion of Honor (also worth a visit).  Definitely a beautiful hike, but pay attention to the signs that read “Trail Closed Ahead,” they aren’t joking.  We couldn’t find the point where we accessed the trail and somehow managed to end up at the closed portion.  For those who know me, I’m sure you find this shocking.  (Sarcasm.)
