Jack London State Park, Glen Ellen

I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to drive to the Sonoma Valley–blue skies, a crystal clear view of Alcatraz, and hundreds of sail boats in the Marina, and that was just crossing the Golden Gate!  Yesterday, I went to a wedding at Jack London State Park located in Glen Ellen–a truly spectacular venue.  Flanked by a grove of eucalyptus trees, grape vines, and oak trees, is an old winery ruin situated perfectly in the middle.  The wedding was beautiful, and my friend made a gorgeous bride.  You could truly feel everyone’s excitement for the union of this loving couple.  Congrats, Ali and Eric!

More Drawings

This morning I sat down at Ritual Coffee Roasters with a latte and a bag full of colored pencils and my Sharpie, and drew 2 more things from 712 More Things to Draw.

712 More Things to Draw

So it’s been a while since I’ve posted, and apparently, WordPress has since completely changed the editing module-thingy (technical term).  I bought 712 More Things to Draw a few weekends ago, and totally recommend this book to anyone who likes drawing, but doesn’t know what to draw (i.e., people like me).  Or for people with kids.  Or for those who want to practice drawing.  Or for anyone who is bored.  Okay, so basically I recommend this book to anyone.  I wish the paper was a little thicker so my Sharpie didn’t bleed through the pages, but otherwise, I’m a fan.  I’ve snapped photos of some of my doodles.
